Thursday, October 18--Arrive and check-in around 4 PM at the Plantation Resort, 9301 West Fort Island Trail, Crystal River Tel 352-795-1605--they are holding rooms for our group at a total rate of $136.79 (does not include the breakfast) until September 18 so make your reservations early. Meet with Kathy at 4:30 pm with introduction to Ken McNally at 5 PM in the lobby of the Resort and caravan to Ken & Barb's house for a welcoming party with wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner at the Citrus Hills Country Club Tiki Bar & Grille
Friday, October 19--Meet in the lobby of the Plantation Inn with Kathy & Ken to depart at 8:30 AM to caravan to the National Parts Depot Corp office in Ocala for a private tour of their car collection (more than 100 classic vehicles) then lunch at the Horse & Hounds Restaurant & Pub then back to the Plantation. Meet in the lobby of the resort with Ken for a 3:30 PM departure to caravan from the Plantation to downtown Historic Inverness for the monthly Friday Night Thunder cruise-in event which will feature our club's Allante`s & XLRs--Dinner on your own at one of the several downtown restaurants. The Elvis Presley movie "Follow That Dream" was filmed in the Old Courthouse in the 1960's, where there is museum featuring the filming
Saturday - Oct. 20th Trip to Cedar Key Sea Food Festival & Lunch or back to Blackwater Grill for Lunch
Sunday Oct 21st Breakfast or Leave for home
