Hi John, Merry Christmas to you and family. Thanks for putting this event together, we're really looking forward to it.
As you requested in emails, I'd like to share our plan for attending this event with our Red 93 Allante which you know from the Invitational Event in GRR and working on a few years ago on the repair tour in Michigan:
- In anticipation of this event, and a nice Winter in Florida, we had our Allante shipped to our Ft. Myers home in October this year.
- I found your event registration form on the club website, have filled it in and mailed it to you with our check for the things we will participate in.
(The check's in the mail - as they say)
- Our plan as of now is to drive our Allante to Daytona from Ft. Myers on Friday morning, 3/27/26.
We'll look to find you at the show at the Speedway when we arrive and will afterward join you for dinner at Dick's Last Resort.
Please let anyone interested know that we're open to meeting up with others along the way to caravan to Daytona Friday morning.
We already have two nights reservation at the host hotel, at the group rate thanks to you.
- Saturday we'll be with you all day, breakfast at the hotel, over to the Speedway for the show, judging, awards banquet afterward.
- Sunday we'd like to be sure to be included in the Drive the Track event, and then will likely depart for Ft. Myers afterward.
If our departure is late Sunday, we'll stop at a hotel along the way back to Ft. Myers. It depends on how late it gets.
Hopefully this gives you some good info to use when making reservations and
planning the number of participants in the various events.
Feel free to share with any others who will attend, just give me a note with their contact info, so I can follow-up with them personally.
Our route from Ft. Myers is flexible as of now, so we could easily go over to West Palm Beach, then up to Daytona, vs. up to Orlando then over.
