This Allante is a 1990.5 series 2, the exterior color is Pearl with black interior and black convertible roof, the convertible top was replaced with a factory correct top about two years prior to my purchase. the wheels are factory correct premium wheels by the previous owner and the original wheels I have, and they are mounted. The stereo system was professional done with the door panels being removed, all new Bose speakers, the door panels insulated and the custom cover box behind the seat, carpeted to match the floor carpet, the cost for this was three thousand dollars ( $ 3000.00), I have the invoice for all of this work. I have every invoice that pertains to this vehicle since it left the dealership in Florida, up to the present time, they are all in folders, including the original window sticker and the build sheets also including the manual for working on the vehicle. The original owner had the car for twelve years, the second owner had the car for fifteen years and was a die-hard lover of Cadillacs, in fact he had thirty cars in his collection. Since I purchased the car, I had a bad injector, so I replaced all of them. About six months ago I had a problem with the rear brake on the right rear, so I replaced the rotors, calipers and pads on both sides. This Allante is most likely one of the finest around, it has 42,000 miles on the odometer.

I am selling the car for a friend who's husband passed away this past winter. He only owned the car for a short time, but was looking forward to a nice convertible in the summer. He was believed to be just the second owner. This is the only reason the car is up for sale.

I have gotten to know the car in the last month and it is a great car for weekend fun. It drives strong, probably because of the low miles. The AC works great too and it handles nicely in the curves at 45 mph plus.So, for the full disclosure from what I have learned, this car can be driven as is or if a slight project is in mind, here are the following things I would do to make it back close to showroom quality:

1. A new paint job. Pick you favorite color as it will more than likely blend with the tan interior. Which is in great shape I might add. We have lowered the price over the past week to make a $2550 allowance for paint. The car was originally listed for $10,500. The paint is mottled on the trunk and there are small dings on the driver side door. However, the car is completely rust free!

2. The power antennae, a known problem with this model, is not retracting fully and the motor is staying on. I unplugged it so as not to run the battery down.

3. The convertible pull down motor is in process to be repaired.

It has always run well and everything has worked except the AC and the tape system. It now needs some TLC.
