Happy Fall Ya'll!

The newly renovated Fontana Village Resort is going to be spectacular for our annual "fall leaf looking" trip to the North Carolina mountains. Lodge rooms have been updated with new bathrooms and showers, a serenity garden added, new upholstery in lobby with new art and colors are just a few of the upgrades.

The main restaurant has been upgraded to a fine dining venue with new menus and operating times. (Fine dining means casual attire with shoes) (ha ha)!!!! The Wildwood Grille is now Quill's Canteen with a new menu.

I am exploring a few new or upgraded activities at the Village as well as a Fontana Lake tour with guide and a possible "challenge mini golf game". I'll keep you updated on activities and other things to do in surrounding area. And ...... if you have not driven the TAIL OF THE DRAGON route yet, you will have a new experience of heart stopping turns and curves to share with friends. Your Allante' or XLR will enjoy stretching their legs on the Tail of the Dragon!

I have blocked 12 rooms for us Friday Oct 18 -20. Pricing has increased (probably due to new ownership and renovation). Rooms are limited due to the fall season, but I have blocked rooms in the Lodge, and Garden Units as follows: 3 Lodge rooms with 2 queen beds at $184/night 4 Garden Unit 2 rooms with 2 queen beds at $149/night 5 Garden Unit 1 rooms with a king bed at $149/night Be sure to BOOK YOUR ROOM NO LATER THAN JULY 15 BY CALLING THE RESORT AT 800-849-2258 asking for Allante' Car Club rate for the type of room you want. OUR BLOCK OF ROOMS WILL BE RELEASED JULY 18. So please book your room quickly and if you have questions or suggestions, please let me know by either text, email or phone.
