Allante 93, 46000 miles. I turn the ignition on and the chime started to ding very weakly, no lights... The horn sounds like old screechy klaxon, no starter... The battery shows 12.6V
Sounds familiar? Would appreciate a suggestion.

Boris, did you say battery fully charge but no crank? if so get new battery bolts clean wires and rebolt on, i have seen a lot that owners say they tighten down wires but the cable still moves, make sure you cant move the cable
Johnny, you were right. I took the battery to the AutoZone. Although the battery showed 12.6V, the CCA number (cold crank amp.) was 147 instead of 770.
Bought a new one. The car started without any hesitation!
